The mission of the Society of American Foresters is to advance sustainable management of forest resources through science, education, and technology; to enhance the competency of its members; to establish professional excellence; and to use our knowledge, skills, and conservation ethic to ensure the continued health, integrity, and use of forests to benefit society in perpetuity.
I am a member of this organization for the purpose of contributing to their mission and to stay updated on current trends and information in the forestry industry.
Ruffed Grouse Society and American Woodcock Society (RGS and AWS)

Established in 1961, the Ruffed Grouse Society is North America's foremost conservation organization dedicated to preserving our sporting traditions by creating healthy forest habitat for ruffed grouse, American woodcock and other wildlife. RGS works with landowners and government agencies to develop critical habitat utilizing scientific management practices.
I am a member of this organization in order to actively participate in land management for ruffed grouse and American woodcock. I actively participate in the Northern Ohio Chapter, which meets at the Bristol Township Hall, 1864 Greenville Rd., Bristolville, OH 44402 at 7:00PM); this chapter is a fairly new American Woodcock Society chapter that is actively promoting and participating in habitat management for ruffed grouse and American woodcock.
Northeastern Ohio Forestry Association (NEOFA)

This organization is for woodland owners in North Eastern Ohio that share a common interest in improving woodlands for wood production, wildlife, recreation, and conservation.
I am an active member of this organization in order to establish relationships with likeminded individuals, business owners, and other consulting foresters and help promote faithful land and wildlife stewardship in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
