I recently worked with Dave at Legacy Land and Wildlife on developing a Woodland Stewardship Plan for our property so that we could apply for the county CAUV program. Dave was very prompt in returning my calls and messages. He was able to quickly set up an appointment time to meet me at the property. He spent at least 4 hours with me walking the property and discussing the plan. He spent a lot of time explaining the types of trees and vegetation on the property. He was a wealth of knowledge and a very down to earth nice guy. His fees were very reasonable and well worth it. I would highly recommend Dave for any type of woodland management needs that you may have.

Legacy Land & Wildlife prepared a Forestry Management Plan for our family this year. To be honest I expected a plan that would be used to obtain a CAUV tax credit, simple as that. What I received was a complete, thorough and consciences look at what "could" be, in such detail and brilliance, that we all were truly amazed and impressed. Dave Duell was not only friendly, good natured and easy going, he is a very passionate and talented forester. He walked with me for a few hours and in that time created a plan that is so well-thought it is truly brilliant. Legacy will be working with us on other projects regarding this plan and we look forward to them. Highly recommended.

David is an excellent resource to have on your side. He takes his time during site visits and I guarantee you will learn from him. He has the heart of teacher and will not leave until you feel comfortable with his management plan. We are going to use David when we do a management cut on our properties because we know he will have our best interest in mind. David's passion for forestry and the management of God's creation is evident. Highly recommended!!!
